If you realise that you have registered incorrect device details and are not yet enrolled, you can update your device's serial number, check code, or ID via the Amber app.
Note: You can only update the serial number if you entered it manually during registration; serial numbers generated automatically after logging into the monitoring platform for your device do not need to be changed.
Please follow these steps if you need to update your device details:
- Open Amber app devices tab
- Head to "View device details"
- Tap "Update device details"
- Re-enter correct details in the form
- We will then continue the onboarding process. No need to reach out to us. :)
If you have multiple devices that are awaiting onboarding, you can select the device you want to update at the top of the screen by clicking on the drop-down.
