CGTOU — Small Business TOU

Type: Time-of-use

Comments: Default small business tariff for greenfield new connections, new or upgraded solar or battery installations, three-phase upgrades and customers with a smart meter. Peak 9am–9pm weekdays (excluding public holidays); Off-peak all other times. Weekends and public holidays are all off-peak.

Type: Two-way (import and export) with monthly demand charge

Comments: Flexible storage tariff. Import: energy charged 4pm–9pm every day in summer (Dec–Feb) and winter (Jun–Aug); 0.00 c/kWh at all other times and in the shoulder months (Mar–May, Sep–Nov). No network daily supply charge. Monthly demand charge (kW) measured anytime (24/7). Export: reward for exports 4pm–9pm every day in summer and winter; charge on exports 11am–4pm every day in summer and the shoulder months (no export charge in winter). Export threshold: 1 kWh/day (rollover, totalled across the billing period).
