Audi EV - Onboarding and Common Issues

Enrolment Steps

  1. Open the Amber app and go to the Devices tab (second icon along the bottom).
  2. From here, the next step depends on whether you already have a device linked:
    1. No devices linked yet: tap Automate EV Charging.
    2. Already have a device: tap Devices in the top left, then under More tap Add another device, then tap Automate EV Charging.
  3. Tap Audi:

     
  4. Review and confirm the tick boxes.
  5. Tap Begin Linking. This will prompt you to confirm the pairing in the Audi app. You will then be redirected back to our app.
  6. Let Amber know about your current charging setup
  7. Complete the automated checks.
  8. Wait for a notification confirming your EV charging is ready
  9. Tap Finish Setup to get started.
  10. Enable EV Automation and configure your Charging Controls.
 

Common problems:

  • Too many requests when signing into Audi

    • This means your password is incorrect or has expired. Please reset this and try again:
