In order to successfully apply for the NSW PDRS rebate, you may be required to save an email from Amber as a PDF. Once you've done that, you can use the PDF file as part of your rebate application.
Below is a guide for how to do this on the most common email apps.
Apple Mail app (iPhone & iPad)
- Open the Mail app and select the email you want to save.
- Tap the Reply arrow icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Print.
- In the print preview screen, tap the Share icon in the top-right of the screen to save the PDF to your device.
- If you don't see the Share icon, pinch to zoom in on the email preview thumbnail. This will then show a full-screen PDF preview.
- Tap the Share icon to save the PDF to your device.

Apple Mail app (Mac)
- Open the Mail app and select the email.
- From the menu bar at the top of the screen, click File.
- Select Export as PDF....
- Choose a name and location for your file, then click Save.
Alternatively, you can use the Print menu:
- Go to File > Print.
- In the bottom-left corner of the print dialog box, click the PDF dropdown menu.
- Select Save as PDF.

Gmail (Web Browser)
- Open Gmail in your web browser and click on the email you want to save.
- Click the three-dot menu (More) in the top-right corner of the email message pane.
- Select Print.
- A print dialog box will open. In the Destination field, select Save as PDF.
- Click Save and choose where to store the file on your computer.

Gmail app (iPhone & iPad)
- Open the Gmail app and navigate to the email.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the email.
- Select Print.
- On the next screen, tap the Share icon in the top-right corner of the screen to save the PDF to your device.

Microsoft Outlook (Desktop app for Windows & Mac)
- Open the Outlook application and double-click the email to open it in its own window.
- Click File in the top-left corner.
- Select Print.
- In the Printer dropdown menu:
- On Windows, select Microsoft Print to PDF.
- On Mac, click the PDF dropdown in the bottom-left and choose Save as PDF.
- Click Print (Windows) or Save (Mac) to finish.

Microsoft Outlook (Web Browser)
- Log in to your Outlook account at Outlook.com and open the email.
- Click the three-dot menu (More actions) at the top of the email message.
- Select Print, and then click Print again in the preview window.
- In the browser's print dialog, change the Destination to Save as PDF.
- Click Save.

Outlook app (iPhone & iPad)
- Open the Outlook app and select the desired email.
- Tap the three-dot menu next to the sender's name.
- Scroll down and tap Print Conversation.
- In the print preview, tap the Share icon.
- Select Save to Files to save the PDF to your chosen location.
