Network Tariff's are often overlooked, however understanding the structure of your tariff, as well as other tariff's your network provider offers can be effective means to saving you money.
Our tariff explainer provides an in-depth look at the common structures, as well as who they suit - this article will inform you how to find out your current tariff using the Amber app.
To find your tariff:
Step 1: Open the Amber app, and navigate to the 'Settings' tab
Step 2: Navigate to Tariff Information. This will provide you with your current network provider and tariff code. Select 'View tariff details' for a detailed breakdown of your current tariff.
Tariff details including pricing (usually referred to as Tariff Schedules) are traditionally updated by network providers annually, with updated pricing coming into effect from 1st July each year. Whilst each network provider will house details of their tariff schedules on their website, the simplest place to access your network providers tariff schedule is via the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) Pricing Proposals page.
