What is Amber's monthly subscription?

Amber's monthly subscription currently costs $25/month and it's our only margin for running the business. We don't profit from your electricity usage or daily supply charge, so we can focus on getting your power bills as low as possible.

Why is the monthly subscription on my bill slightly different?
On your bill, you might see a monthly subscription that is slightly higher or lower than $25/month. This is because the $25/month is calculated on a daily basis and pro-rated for how many billing days are in the month.

For example:

• A bill with 28 billing days would show a monthly subscription of $20.91 (excluding GST) and $23.00 (including GST)
• A bill with 30 billing days would show a monthly subscription of $22.41 (excluding GST) and $24.65 (including GST)
• A bill with 31 billing days would show a monthly subscription of $23.16 (excluding GST) and $25.48 (including GST)

Amber's monthly subscription is charged per NMI (National Meter Identifier)

• If you have two meters on the same NMI
  • No, you will be only be charged one monthly subscription
• If you have two meters with two NMIs or multiple properties
  • Yes, you will be charged two monthly subscriptions.
